Mothar Mountain Rock Pools

The kids and my husband are all on holidays this week (I'm always on holidays....ha, yeah right!) so we went for a bushwalk, picnic and swim at Mothar Mountain Rock Pools at Woondum National Park.

Well, they all went for a swim, I took photos!

The walk was a 500m circuit along the creek which was beautiful, even if I did complain loudly about the two wet crossings!

It's only a 20 minute drive from home, I don't know why we don't go there more often.

Maybe we will now.

Lookout at Cooran

On the weekend my 8 year old boy remembered the last time we went to
 the Lookout at Cooran and wanted to go back.

So go back we did.

It was our third picnic to this scenic location, and we had it all to ourselves...again!

We love it here.

The scenery and views are spectacular.

It's so quiet and peaceful.

The kids can run free.

And we feel like we're on top of the world!
