Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary

On the last day of our annual week's holiday at Coolangatta
we decided to visit the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
And we all loved it!
There was so much to see and do and it was so BIG.
We spent 5 hours there and want to go back next year.

I decided to face my phobia and photograph snakes! This one was behind glass.

There were lovely bush walks

This bit was a bit tricky!

A fun show for kids
The magic show was excellent, so funny!

The birds were amazing

This one WASN'T behind glass!! But there was a snake handler close by.

Up close and personal!

Lots of kangaroos and lots of people

"What's that Skip?"
Gotta love the koalas

Even painted ones!

There was a great Kids' Adventure playground that we only found at the last minute

The jets constantly flying over were so low.

I came home with this, so I was very happy!

  1. We've not been there for nearly 10 years. Maybe it's time to visit again. Looks like you had great weather.

    1. The weather was perfect and I highly recommend it if you can get a special deal Karen. Otherwise it is quite expensive.
