Red Bromeliad
This is from our garden.
The foliage of these plants is not very attractive,
but the flower spikes are stunning.

Pale-headed Rosella
This was one of the many birds around our farmhouse getaway.
I was excited to see this one because havent' seen any of these around my town.

Glasshouse Mountains
This, in my humble opinion, is one of the best views in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.
The Glasshouse Mountains are simply stunning.
This is another photo from my girls' weekend. I could have stayed looking at this view forever.

Donkey
Another weekend, another getaway.
And this one was divine.
Nine of us, old college friends, in a farmhouse at Maleny.
It was so tranquil. All we looked out on was rolling hills, green grass, trees...oh and a couple of donkeys.

Heritage
I adore old buildings.
This restored (and relocated) old church is absolutely stunning.
It is now the home of Heritage Wines restaurant and function centre.
It's also their wine tasting room.
It was set up for a wedding later that day and was so beautiful we all wanted to get married again...here!
The views, we were told, were stunning, too. But sadly we were in the clouds that day and couldn't see them.
One of the things I loved, apart from it's beauty, was its smell. I was hit by the smell of an old church the minute I walked in the door.

Wine!
The last photo was a wall on the outside of Aussie Vineyards.
This wall is inside the Cellar Door.
I wish it was inside my house!

Winery Wall
On the weekend I helped my sister celebrate her upcoming 40th birthday by joining her and her friends for a wine tasting tour on Tamborine Mountain. It was so much fun! I loved this wall at Aussie Vineyards.

Moon
I finally took my camera off auto and had a play with manual settings!
This would be much better with a tripod...my next investment?
