FMS Photo a Day Challenge - Week 6 2015

Monday 2: Mail - We haven't been to a wedding for almost 7 years. So we were very excited to receive this in the mail recently. It will be our first niece/nephew wedding!

Tuesday 3: Water - Rain on a pretty flower.

Wednesday 4: Reward - My reward for being a good wife...I love it when he buys me flowers!

Thursday 5: Something Blue - Cinderella was always my favourite childhood character, and now she is my Miss 7's favourite as well.

Friday 6: Makes Me Smile - Pink roses always make me smile, especially when they're in my own garden!

Saturday 7: Stripes - My favourite pot in the garden.

Sunday 8: In My Bag - I hadn't been swimming with the kids or my husband in 2 - 3 years because I've put on a lot of weight and hate how I look in swimwear. But this year I decided I was going to buy some new swimmers and just do it. Well, yesterday I did!! This was what was in my swimming bag...

FMS Photo a Day Challenge - Week 5 2015

Monday 26: Three things - Sun, surf & sand! Happy Australia Day!!

Tuesday 27: Morning - This one is an oldie, but I miss the morning sunrise on the farm.

Wednesday 28: Strange - This strange thing popped up in the backyard a few days ago. Mr Google tells me it's a Stinkhorn Fungus and apparently it smells like fresh doggy doodoo but I wasn't putting my nose anywhere near that thing to find out!

Thursday 29: Summer/Winter - Everyone loves to do this in Summer...everyone but me! I hate hot sand, being in the Summer sun and wearing swimwear!! The only time I like going to the beach is in Winter...the Queensland winter that is, which isn't really winter at all!

Friday 30: Fave food - For me they're the ultimate indulgence. Love love LOVE oysters!

Saturday 31: On top - Here we are...on top of Mt Coolum. My husband loves climbing mountains...me, not so much!

Sunday 1: On my plate - Breakfast! Good morning :D

FMS Photo a Day Challenge - Week 4 2015

Mon 19th - Homemade: My homemade Caesar Salad. Much better than the pre-packaged version where everything tastes like cardboard!

Tues 20th - Window: A round window in one of the local churches.

Wed 21st - In a row: At the show...

Thurs 22nd - Collection: I had trouble decided whether to go with my oldest collection, or our new collection. So here's my oldest and most treasured Royal Family collection and our fairy recent vintage coloured glass collection. I have books and books and books on the British Royal Family...and scrapbooks which I spent hours and hours cutting and pasting into...and jigsaw puzzles and videos which sadly I cannot even watch any more because we don't have a video player.

Fri 23rd - Something far away: The sun, can't get much further away than that! Although sometimes it looks quite close.

Sat 24th - Play time: My Miss 7 had her two best friends over for a sleepover for the first time last night. There has been play time aplenty for the past 24 hours!!

Sun 25th - Black + White: An old dining car at our local historic railway station. Ah, the romance of yesteryear...

FMS Photo a Day Challenge - Week 3 2015

Monday 12: Bright - A bright and beautiful Rainbow Lorikeet in my brother & sister-in-law's garden.

Tuesday 13: Lucky Number - Friday the 13th may be unlucky for some. But we were married on a Friday the 13th so we always say it's our lucky day!

Wednesday 14: New - I love my new bag that I got for Christmas. I had one exactly the same in green...but when I saw it in pink, I just HAD to have it!

Thursday 15: Old - My old charm bracelet (c. 1985) on my even older piano (c. 1945). The piano was my grandmother's 21st birthday present.

Friday 16: Nature - Isn't nature amazing? We have five of these chrysalises on our little lime tree. I'm desperately hoping I capture the moment the butterflies emerge.

Saturday 17: Jump - You might as well jump. Go ahead and jump!

Sunday 18: Today is...summer salad weather!

Monday 5: Square - I read square...I think, "I don't have a square to spare"... #favouriteSeinfeldquotes

Tuesday 6: Round - Yesterday I saw lots of crocheted granny squares for the daily prompt. This morning I have been working on crocheted rounds. They're going to be cute little owls. Pic of some I've done over the last few days as well.

Wednesday 7: Currently reading - I'm currently re-reading a book by my favourite author, Kate Morton. I love this on the first page of "The Distant Hours"....makes me wish "The True History of the Mud Man" was a real book that I could read also...
