Tiny White Flowers

These were also in the gardens at Binna Burra Lodge.
I don't know what they are called.
But they're pretty little things.

Moss or Lichen?

I took this on one of our bushwalks at Binna Burra.
It was growing on a tree and I don't know if it's moss or lichen, or something else all together.
Do you know?

Agapanthus

I love blue flowers. And these are my very favourite.
My dream is to one day have agapanthus in my own garden.
They're just so gorgeous.

Yellow and Orange Flowers

I found these delightful flowers on a small shrub in my mother-in-law's garden.
I have no idea what they are. Do you?
But they look a little like hot air balloons, don't you think?

Rain Lily

A beautiful white rain lily. They're also known as fairy lilies.

Blue Water Lily

Today we visited the Cooroy Botanical Gardens for the first time.
It's quite run down, I'd say it needs a few more gardeners, but I'd imagine it would cost a fortune for upkeep because it's pretty big!
But there was a heap of great things to photograph so I was in heaven.
I got so many shots that I love, but I'll start with my favourite.
Our local duck pond has waterlilies but they're boring white ones.
I've wanted to snap blue ones for ages...or purple or pink.
There were all of these colours today!

Mushroom

I love the things that pop up in the garden.
And after all the rain we've had, there are loads of these at the moment.
Our front yard is more like a forest at the moment!

Isn't he a fun guy....sorry, couldn't resist! ;)

Tiny Pink Flower

This gorgeous little flower just came up out of one of our potted plants.
I'm sure it must be a weed.
But it is still beautiful.
And so teeny tiny.

Purple Beach Flower

These gorgeous flowers were growing in the sand, right by the beach.
I used the macro setting on the zoom lens to take this photo.

Jacaranda Purple

Most of the jacarandas around town have finished flowering.
But some still have their gorgeous purple blooms.
Like this one at the duck pond.
Immerse yourself in some purply goodness.
Divine, isn't it?

The last time we visited my mother-in-law she had a gorgeous bunch of cut flowers on her kitchen bench.
