Sometimes the sunset in winter is nothing short of spectacular.

Sunset

I snapped this from my back yard last Sunday, when it wasn't raining for a change.

Today, however, it is wet...again.

But I don't mind, I'm enjoying the grey days.

Sunset at Binna Burra

I'm finally at the end of our Binna Burra stay.
The sunsets from the Coomera Terrace were absolutely magnificent.

Ball of Fire

Yesterday, as the sun descended into the smoke haze on the horizon, it looked like a huge orange ball of fire. Which of course it is.

Sunset Ferry

The theme for today on the 30 Day Photography Challenge is

I know my first post, only last ten days ago, was a sunset.

But here's another one I kinda like.

It was taken in March from the ferry to Stradbroke Island.

I was with seven college friends heading to our girls' weekend.

We were most impressed that we managed to catch the sunset ferry, without even realizing it.
