I walked out to the end of our back lane for my nature shot today.

The View

On the second day of our Easter getaway to Binna Burra, we took the kids on a 2km bushwalk to Bellbird Lookout. This was the amazing view at the end of the walk. You can just see Egg Rock to the left.

Flight

I took this yesterday above the canal at Caloundra.
I don't know what this bird is, I'm guessing some kind of hawk.
It was diving into the canal trying to catch fish.
Didn't catch any while we were watching.

I took this series of photos a few months ago.
This is the first time I've put some pictures together into a collection.

Ball of Fire

Yesterday, as the sun descended into the smoke haze on the horizon, it looked like a huge orange ball of fire. Which of course it is.

The Sun

I know...another sunset photo!
But what I particularly love about this one is the bird as well.
Two of my favourite things to photograph in one photo...if only there was a flower in there as well! ;)
