365 Days In Nature - Day 74
I've been wanting to snap one of these blue butterflies for ages!
But I never have my camera with me when I see one.
As providence would have it, just now I stepped out onto my front porch thinking,
"What on earth will I snap for the nature photo today?"
And there it was, a blue butterfly on the mock oranges.
I grabbed my camera and got a few shots...not many because they are so FAST!
This was the best I got...

365 Days In Nature - Day 73
I heard a kookaburra laughing this morning in the back yard so I quietly crept up to snap it.
And it posed quite nicely for me, don't you think?
Am I the only one with a "kookaburra complex"?
I swear, every time I hear one laughing I think it's laughing at me.

365 Days In Nature - Day 70
I love it when my Crepe Myrtle is flowering.
It reminds me of my Nan.
She had two in her front garden.

365 Days In Nature - Day 69
Having so much rain has totally confused the mulberry tree.
It has fruit...it doesn't usually fruit until September!

365 Days In Nature - Day 68
These lovely yellow flowering trees line the street of the estate that our block is in.
I don't know what they are.
Do you?
{PS I Googled it and found it is called a Golden Penda}

365 Days In Nature - Day 67
On my way home from the shops today I stopped at the duck pond to take a picture of...
a turtle...or is it a tortoise?

365 Days In Nature - Day 61
I took this yesterday and used it for the Photo A Day Challenge.
And as it is raining again, and it's so pretty I'm posting it here as well.
Another one from our garden that I didn't even know was there until I went looking for "L is for..."
It's a liriope.
