We found this on the path at the end of our bushwalk.
I don't know about you, but these things freak me out a little!
I'm guessing it was about 1m long.
But nice camouflage don't you think?
Oh yes, they always freak me out too Thea! But they're actually kinda cute once I realise it's not actually a snake or a reptile that's going to attack me. Great photo, you did well to get up so close xo
I love them but theyre so rare..and a metre long..even more rare. I once found a Lace Goanna 1.5 metres long...what an animal. It looked more like a small Crocodile than a big Lizard. Truth is though I wasn't game to get out of the car... (and I didnt have a camera)
