365 Days In Nature - November 2013

I began taking a nature photo on the 1st of January this year.
My goal is to take one every day for the whole year.
A few months into it I decided to start a Facebook group to share our nature photos.
It has grown to 200 members from all around the world.
And it's the best group on Facebook.
No, I'm not at all biased!
If you want to join us, you can find us here... 365 Days In Nature

30/11 Day 334 - Saturday Theme: New Life. Woke up to a lovely rainy day and it looks like the little Frangipanis are loving the rain, too!

29/11 Day 333 - The closest thing we get to snow...mock orange blossoms all over the ground!

28/11 Day 332 - Check out the blossoms today! The whole of the garden is covered like this...the scent is heavenly. I'm going to sit out on the front patio and enjoy it (and the Christmas lights) right now!

27/11 Day 331 - Our pretty Poinciana tree.

26/11 Day 330 - The buds have begun to bloom!!

25/11 Day 329 - The colours in the sky last night were amazing.

24/11 Day 328 - From my mother-in-law's garden...

23/11 Day 327 - Saturday Theme: Fake. Mock orange (or Murraya)...mock = fake, right?

22/11 Day 326 - Lucky me...look what I got today! I lovely gift from another teacher at school for doing a small sewing job for her. I don't have to tell you they're my favourite colour!!

21/11 Day 325 - These geraniums are such a pretty colour.

20/11 Day 324 - I just love the speckled white petal on the Poinciana flowers.

19/11 Day 323 - Today's tune..."Two birds on a wire".

18/11 Day 322 - It was so lovely to go to sleep listening to the rain on the roof last night. And even lovelier to see my rain drenched Poinciana this morning.

17/11 Day 321 - I just drove through a terrible hail storm and didn't even think to pick up the camera and take a photo! That's how terrified I was...mother nature at its scariest! But earlier today I snapped this in my mother-in-law's garden...mother nature at its prettiest.

16/11 Day 320 - Saturday Theme: Stones. We have stones EVERYWHERE in our garden! Stone walls, stone steps, stones filling in every empty space...

15/11 Day 319 - Another morning bird in the Poinciana tree. Does anyone know what this is?

14/11 Day 318 - I think this is a Noisy Friarbird. It was really enjoying the small amount of rain we had this morning.

13/11 Day 317 - Who knew golden cane palms flowered? Not me...until now.

12/11 Day 316 - In a pot full of white snapdragons, this was the only pink one. One of these things...

11/11 Day 315 - There were four on the neighbour's aerial and two in the jacaranda to the right. They sounded like they were singing up a storm...but we're still waiting!

10/11 Day 314 - I promised you the new poinciana flower...here it is!

9/11 Day 313 - Saturday Theme: Patterns in nature. The leaves on the poinciana tree have a cool pattern. And, yes, the bud has fully bloomed! But you'll have to wait until tomorrow to see it.

8/11 Day 312 - I love the things I see when I'm hanging out the washing in the backyard!

7/11 Day 311 - It's almost blooming!! Can you see it?

6/11 Day 310 - Another red bottlebrush from our garden.

5/11 Day 309 - The Aussie morning wake-up call...a warbling magpie.

4/11 Day 308 - I was on my way out to walk down the street to snap some frangipanis for today's nature photo, when all of a sudden these two little darlings flew into our poinciana tree. I didn't have to go anywhere!

3/11 Day 307 - Three pretty snapdragons, all in a row...

2/11 Day 306 - Saturday Theme: Red. A baby bottlebrush blossom.

1/11 Day 305 - My tree is budding all over. I can't wait for it to bloom. Can you guess what it is?
