I began taking a nature photo on the 1st of January 2013.
My goal was to take one every day for the whole year.
I achieved that, now I'm back for another year.
I started a Facebook group to share our nature photos.
It has grown to more than 200 members from all around the world.
And it's the best group on Facebook.
No, I'm not at all biased!
Day 91 - 1st Apr - Day 4 of the possum series...
Day 92 - 2nd Apr - "Gimme, gimme, gimme!!"
Day 93 - 3rd Apr - "Got it!! Mmmmmmmmmm banana..."
Day 94- 4th Apr - "Bye bye"
Day 95 - 5th Apr - Saturday Theme: Time in Nature - Sunrise on the farm. One from the archives...
Day 96 - 6th Apr - Spring time in the garden!? Not really, just happy Murrayas after some good rain.
Day 97 - 7th Apr - It's time for a good storm....yes! This was last night...
Day 98 - 8th Apr - It's collection time for bees. I had to snap the Murraya again, it's just so beautiful. Our whole garden is covered with white flowers and it smells absolutely divine!!
Day 99 - 9th Apr - Our town clock tower at sunset....literally time in nature!
Day 100 - 10th Apr - I looked out the kitchen window this morning and saw that seven of these have popped up overnight! I guess it's blooming bromeliad time!
Day 101 - 11th Apr - The tree in the park across the road has the only indication of Autumn around here.
Day 102 - 12th Apr - Saturday Theme: Camouflage - Rainbow lorikeets maybe very colourful, but they can be camouflaged when they want to.
Day 103 - 13th Apr - These bearded dragons blend in so well with the rocks that I've almost stood on them in the backyard on numerous occasions. And it always scares the bejesus out of me!!
Day 104 - 14th Apr - Here's another type of lizard that loves our garden. We have a few blue tongues...I have almost stood on these as well!! It's a zoo out there.
Day 105 - 15th Apr - I was lucky to spot this on a forest floor while we were on a family bush walk because it's pretty well camouflaged. Is it a cicada?
Day 106 - 16th Apr - This turtle at the duck pond is doing its best to look like a mossy rock!
Day 107 - 17th Apr - Great colour camouflage Mr Grasshopper but I still see you!!
Day 108 - 18th Apr - These lovely butterflies aren't easy to spot when they're blending into the leaves.
Day 109 - 19th Apr - Theme: Local Wildlife - What good timing!! This gorgeous Spangled Drongo was hanging out in our front garden this morning...I love these birds and don't see them very often!
Day 110 - 20th Apr - Local Wildlife: One of the most common local visitors around here...aren't we lucky?
Day 111 - 21st Apr - Local Wildlife: At the local duck pond. I saw some babies as we drove past today...I need to get back out there soon!
Day 112 - 22nd Apr - Local Wildlife: A very cute kookaburra in back yard. I do wonder what they're laughing at when they get their cackle on!
Day 113 - 23rd Apr - Local Wildlife - Moving away from birds...but still wildlife that flies...
Day 114 - 24th Apr - Local Wildlife - And another one that is not a bird but has wings...a beautiful butterfly.
Day 115 - 25th Apr - Local Wildlife - Taken on this day last year...ANZAC Day at Tin Can Bay....close enough to be local...I love soldier crabs!
Day 116 - 26th Apr - Saturday Theme: Baby Animals - It's baby animal week!! Everyone get ready to "Awwwwwww" all over the place. I have to start with this one, of course...
Day 117 - 27th Apr - Baby Animals: A mother and baby dusky moorhen...I think. I originally thought it was a purple swamphen...but it's not purple!
Day 118 - 28th Apr - Baby Animals - We haven't had a pet since the kids were born and now they're both pestering for a cat. This was the last pet we had...Harry...9 years ago. He grew to have a beautiful nature but didn't come home one day not long after we brought our first baby home. And we never saw him again.
Day 119 - 29th Apr - Baby Animals - This little piggy was at the local show and was so darn cute!
Day 120 - 30th Apr - Baby Animals - Five little swans went out one day...
You have some beautiful photos here Thea! The possum series, sunrise on the farm, sunset over the tower....gorgeous! We have the same bromeliads but no signs of flowers here yet.
