365 Days of Man's Mark on the World - October 2014

At the beginning of 2013 I began a 365 Project called 365 Days In Nature.
This year I'm continuing that one and starting a new one called 365 Days of Man's Mark on the World.
My goal is to take a photo of something man made every day for the whole year.
I've started a Facebook group to share our photos.

If you want to join us, you can find us here... 365 Days of Man's Mark on the World

Day 274 - 1st October - Metal - A metal candle lantern in my sister's backyard.

Day 275 - 2nd October - Metal - Barbed wire on the farm.

Day 276 - 3rd October - Metal - Metal scrolls on a gate on the farm.

Day 277 - 4th October - Black & White - The silos on the farm in black & white.

Day 278 - 5th October - Black & White - I've decided that all of my black & whites will be from the farm for this week.

Day 279 - 6th October - Black & White - I'm using the same photo in colour today for FMS Photo a Day "F is for..." but I like it in black & white as well.

Day 280 - 7th October - Black & White - Every single tractor on the farm is one of these. They're not usually black and white though, they're usually green and yellow.

Day 281 - 8th October - Black & White - Another one from the farm.

Day 282 - 9th October - Black & White - A big old tractor wheel in black & white.

Day 283 - 10th October - Black & White - Finishing black & white week with the original building on the farm, the old barn.

Day 284 - 11th October - Boats - A little boat at Caloundra.

Day 285 - 12th October - Boats - Boats in the Noosa River.

Day 286 - 13th October - Boats - A cute little wooden boat.

Day 287 - 14th October - Boats - One of my favourite boats, a big old paddle steamer. Love the Kookaburra Queens.

Day 288 - 15th October - Boats - A very fast boat!

Day 289 - 16th October - Boats - And they're off and racing!

Day 290 - 17th October - Boats - A wrecked boat! The SS Dicky on Dicky Beach, Caloundra.

Day 291 - 18th October - Memories - Memories will be an interesting week. I thought it might be a bit tricky but I have a few ideas. I'm starting with this one...the metronome brings back memories of practising for exams, the sheet music brings back memories of playing my favourite song and the statues bring back memories of Europe.

Day 292 - 19th October - Memories - Our kids playing in the hay shed brings back memories of all the fun we had doing the same thing in the same hay shed many years ago.

Day 293 - 20th October - Memories - Memories of our last door. When we moved here we rented the house on the left for nearly two years, then bought the house next door and have been here for 11 years.

Day 294 - 21st October - Memories - I remember always loving my Grandma's engagement ring. When I first got mine I remember showing her and pointing out the similarities. I never expected that one day her ring would be mine. Now whenever I wear it, I remember my dear Grandma.

Day 295 - 22nd October - Memories - This building was an old monastery that was converted into my college residence. I only lived there for one year but I have so many great memories and seven very dear friends, all of whom I met there that year.

Day 296 - 23rd October - Memories - I had five of these around the house but one broke, so now I have four. Beautiful memories of Venice.

Day 297 - 24th October - Memories - My favourite piece of furniture from my Nan's house is her corner stand. I remember looking at it and loving the heart shaped cut outs when the whole extended family was in her lounge room for Christmas.

Day 298 - 25th October - Weather Vanes or Things on the Roof - I've never seen a weather vane around here, but I'm going to go looking. For now, here's a cross on the roof of the church.

Day 299 - 26th October - Weather Vanes or Things on the Roof - A cute little window on the roof of the house across the street.

Day 300 - 27th October - Weather Vanes or Things on the Roof - On our roof...rust!

Day 301 - 28th October - Weather Vanes or Things on the Roof - A car on the roof of the Ettamogah Pub taken from the ferris wheel.

Day 302 - 29th October - Weather Vanes or Things on the Roof - On the roof of another church in town.

Day 303 - 30th October - Weather Vanes or Things on the Roof - We wouldn't have TV without it!

Day 304 - 31st October - Weather Vanes or Things on the Roof - Harking back to our European Honeymoon for the final thing on the about some horse statues in Rome...
