David Fleay Wildlife Park

On the last day of our holiday at the Gold Coast, we decided to take the kids to David Fleay Wildlife Park at Burleigh Heads. It was wonderful, I highly recommend it!

Mangroves

Aboriginal artwork

Freshwater crocodile

Brushturkey - but we call them scrub turkeys or bush turkeys

Lace monitor (goanna)

Brush-tailed rock wallaby

Eastern Water Dragon

Lumholtz's tree-kangaroo

Another wallaby

Purple swamphen and its baby

Another wallaby!

Can't remember what this little guy is, but it was so cute 'hiding' behind the leaf.

Cassowary

Brolga

Saltwater crocodile

Plumed whistling duck

Another....you know!

Kangaroo

Bearded dragon

Ring-tailed possum

There were heaps of them, ok?

Koala
